i’m always curious about the person who stepped out of their shoe and just kept on walking. usually i find abandoned shoes left by adults in the street, but this is the first time i’ve seen a child’s shoe on the ground. or maybe it was an adult with small feet. i couldn’t resist finally getting a picture of an abandoned shoe. after i snapped the pic, i realized there was a glow around the shoe coming from the sun.

For some reason, it immediately made me think of one of Dorothy’s red ruby shoes in the Wizard of Oz! Especially with that glow around it.

seriously, i see so many shoes in the street and nobody, get it, no body. hahahah uh, moving along. this isn’t a baby shoe, i guess i could understand a baby kicking off a shoe and the parents not realizing it dropped. this shoe belongs to an older child, at least 5 years old. i don’t get it. maybe dorothy left it for me to photograph. i too thought of dorothy when i saw this shoe. and cinderella.
And what a pretty little shoe to leave abandoned. Totally reminds me of Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz!
But seriously, how DOES someone keep on walking after LOSING a shoe? Now I’m going to think about THAT all day long!!
it is a pretty shoe, too pretty to lose. i’m cheap and would have back tracked to look for it. i don’t get it though.
