Walker This Way

233/365

Okay, maybe I over did it just a little yesterday playing softball. I am walking slowly, but I am okay. I wonder if Run DMC & Aerosmith would reconsider remaking their 1980’s rap song from Walk This Way to Walker This Way on my behalf.

Hmm, do you think I can dance with this walker?

    HAHHAHAHAHHAAH….OMG, that’s funny, Val!

Hey listen, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your dress! You’re got great taste in clothing. It’s FLAWLESS, girl! Love the color and the pattern. It almost looks as though it’s made of leather.

    • That’s suede, right? I think it’s suede although suede would be sort of hot to wear in May. Maybe it is leather. It’s cool though.

p.s. Where did you get a walker at the office and what’s up with that turquoise chair?

No, don’t own any suede, or leather, it just *looks* like suede. Nope, it’s poly old ester! It’s been freezing cold the past few days, we went back to winter in NJ. Been wearing a coat too, in the office and outside. People keep asking me if I take iron pills. 38 – 50 degrees outside and something has to be wrong with me. From today on, it will be in the 70’s and now I have to do a Jekyll and Hyde and find something spring-like to wear. I’m not the only one that’s crazy, it’s the weather, I say. Sigh. Just a personal rant. I wish we had uniforms.

Someone in the office has a disability and needs to use a cane, walker and sometimes a wheelchair. I had someone push me to the elevator in the wheelchair once. It was only fun because I eventually got up and walked on my own, but it’s not so great if you need to rely on these things daily just to go pee. More than you asked for, eh?

That chair is ‘dup! Have a nice day.

I still have a few kinks to be worked out, but I’m walking better today, but not without grimace. Thanks Ron, that (2 piece) suit is 97% polyester and 3% spandex. I only know that because I just looked after reading your comment. It also says to dry clean only. I throw that sucker in the washing machine. I can’t afford dry cleaning and the clothing. WTH? It’s been very cold here the last few days, not May like at all. Coats and gloves for me.

      Later!

Speak on it!
