day 12 – wait for it

TM

today was a little better than yesterday. my plan was to take it easy and not do anything to aggravate my body.

i rested for most of the morning then around noon time, when my treadmill was to be delivered, i started pacing the floor and running to the window looking for the delivery truck.

while i waited, i watched a movie (joyful praise) and put in a little over an hour on the exercise bike. i was surprised my knees hurt during that spin. i’m totally breaking down, but i will have to be carried out of my exercise room before i stop exercising.

somewhere around 3 o’clock my patience oozed out the side of my head and i called the delivery company to find out if they were still coming. 15 minutes later they arrived.

i felt like the biggest kid ever and smiled from ear to ear after it was assembled. i love that machine. sadly, i can’t even use the darn thing right now, how funny is that! maybe tomorrow.

oh, i made a quick stop at wal-mart to buy a sweat top and bottom. i can finally get rid of the disgusting set i was wearing. and yes that’s a hole in my sneaker. i’m never throwing this pair away.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!! Isn’t that the BEST feeling ever? To wait for something to be delivered and then when it arrives….you jump up and down like a kid!

    And WOW….it looks awesome!

HA! That’s okay girl, I have a pair that has a hole/fray in the mesh on the side of the left sneaker, AND, tears in the leather on BOTH sneakers. But they are THE MOST comfortable sneakers I own. I use them when I walk around the city a lot because they perfectly conform to my feet. However, they make me look like a homeless person!

    Enjoy your treadmill tomorrow!

it is ron. i think i even hugged the machine. i just stood there looking at it with huge smile. i really love it. used it today, not running yet, but an hour of walking and was ready to get back on it again.

those sneakers are so comfortable. i have another pair i’m breaking in, but they don’t feel as comfortable as the old shoes of course. when i put them on, everything is right with the world. they feel fantastic. better than being barefoot. how is that?
