day 31 – memory lane

when it comes to driving i’m a creature of habit. i drive the same way to work and home. this morning i decided to take a different route to work – changing a routine also creates new brain pathways – to an area that holds a lot of memories for me. i also like to check out the NYC view on clear days. visibility was not great today but the light was amazing enough to create this silhouette.

Exactly! I’m a creature of habit too, but sometimes I make myself walk home a different way during the week, just for some change. And it’s amazing because many times I’ve discover something really cool.

howdy, ron. i have been taking a new way to work almost all this week. only thing i have to be mindful of is gas as don’t go too far out of my way. actually all i have to do is turn down one unfamiliar corner and i’m lost and everything is new to me. maybe that’s what i do. try different streets, oh my word. i’m gonna get lost, but i have time for a little play in the morning before work, so ride on.

thanks ron. i love going to that area, but especially when the view is a good one.

Mel, I have a GPS and I’m still stupid and get lost. ‘Splain, Lucy. Is okay to see new things though as long as I’m not too lost.
