day 65 – calm before the storm

calm before the storm

am still patiently waiting for this storm to appear, but so far nothing. i went outside at lunchtime to take some pictures and other than being very cold, there was ‘nothing going on but the wind’ (name that tune with a twist).

came back inside and went downstairs to the cafeteria. on my way back to the 2nd floor, the elevator stopped on the first floor and i noticed the revolving door looked like a bomb exploded and blew out the glass. i work at a law firm so i wouldn’t be surprised.

a person on the elevator said the revolving door spun around five or six times and then the wind blew out the glass like it was a candle flame. i added the blew out the glass like a candle flame. her story was boring and not as dramatic as mine.  either that or the building is demon possessed. word is it was built on top of a cemetery and that wouldn’t surprise me either.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA! Val, you always crack me up!!!

HOLY COW….the second photo of the glass blow out is frightening to see how strong that wind was. It was the same here in Philly, which really concerned me because of my trip into NYC yesterday. At one point, I thought the bus was going to blow off the turnpike. But it’s odd, because when I got into NYC, it was not as bad – it was worse here.

LOVE that first photo! The sky is AMAZING!!!!

Hey, Ron. Well one can’t just tell a simple story after looking at the damage. It needed flava. 🙂

Did I tell you I was jealous you went to NY. Saturday is supposed to be nice . If I can walk I may go.

Speak on it!
