day 80 – still life

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

i did something today i haven’t done in a while.  *crickets*

i overslept which i hardly ever do by accident.  i enjoy waking up early even if i don’t get out of bed right away.

my sleepiness carried over into my work day at a late afternoon training class.  no sooner than the lights went out my eyelids closed. i’m almost sure my head snapped back at least once.

i somehow made it through the rest of the work day but had to remind myself to take my photo of the day before going to bed.  since it was still light outside, i took advantage the natural light and photographed this bowl of fruit on the front porch.

i applied a texture over the photo because it looked better with it than without.

and nope, the fruit is not real. just look at those carrots.
