day 99 – bird feeder

bird feeder

this was probably the highlight of my day; i bought a bird feeder. yesterday i saw two blue jays and one cardinal out back. hopefully i will be able to get a photo of them soon. maybe these seeds will also be a peace offering for the darn bird that likes to sing at 5:00 a.m. for an hour.  i love birds (and animals), but if i had a stone and a clear shot…

HA! I love birds (animals) too, but OMG…when I was still in Florida, the dang birds used to wake me up at the crack of dawn! Geese quacking is the worst.

Great shot, Val! Looking forward to photos of the birdies eating!

Hope you had a FAB day, girl!

hey ron. it’s raining men in NJ and i bet ya my seeds were washed away. i’ll have to check in the morning. i need to buy a pole for it to hang on. right now my bird feeder has the ghetto lean going on. it’s being held up by a stick wedged in between the fence. shame. even the birds haven’t stooped that low to eat.

that bird was back this morning, not at 5, but 4. i wasn’t sure if it was 4 or 5 so i said 5, but that punk starts early. sings his little heart out, but i wish he would do it in sign language until at least 7:00. i need my quiet in the morning. i do sleep with ear plugs next to the bed so i might have to put them in if i want quiet.

i hope i can get some good photos. i’ll be in the back sitting in my rocking chair just waiting. (insert creaking sound here).

m, i’m a little offended that i saw a blue jay this morning eating off the grass instead of my bird feeder. my seeds are not good enough? i think i have to get a decent pole so that’s it’s higher.
