day 108 – betrayal’s stance

betrayal's stance

okay this is different. red and blue food coloring in a glass, flipped the image and cropped it. oh i did some obvious post-processing too and i’m not sure why i settled on this look. the background looks like a storm passed over and the sun is peeking through the clouds.

now, if i was sitting on the couch i would say the blue food coloring (looks green) i used is a person on their knees, with both hands pressing against the glass for support, pleading for strength to cope with a calamity. the red represents the pain, the hurt and the loss of a life that once was. it’s open to interpretation. go!

Yes, yes…..I can see that now that you mentioned it. I am so lovin’ post-processing you did with the background!

Now when I first saw this photo, I actually saw an orchid. I kid you not. And yes, the blue food coloring does look like green, which is why I thought it looked like a pink orchid with green petals.

    AWESOME work, girl!

An orchid? I think it’s interesting what other people see with these types of images. You’re all about sweet smelling flowers and I’m all about crying on the floor. Our responses are definitely a reflection of our life, eh?

Speak on it!
